  • Monitoring and tracking the infrastructure's CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size, and other vital server parameters is a key responsibility. This must be done on a regular schedule to identify any potential issues before they escalate.

  • A crucial aspect of this role is reporting any performance issues that exceed predetermined thresholds to the appropriate teams for resolution.

  • Scheduling tasks and ensuring their successful completion is also an important task. In cases where tasks fail, they must be rerun as necessary.

  • Technical errors must be reported to the Level 2 or Level 3 teams for prompt resolution. Additionally, monitoring email, Teams channels, and ticketing systems for new items or tickets is essential for timely response and issue resolution.

  • Upon receiving a ticket, it is necessary to provide an initial response and gather further details from business/end-user teams or other relevant stakeholders as required.

  • An additional responsibility is reproducing the issue in the testing environment and providing inputs to the Level 2 team member for effective resolution.

  • Finally, validating issue fixes in the internal testing environment based on customer inputs is critical to ensuring high-quality support.

This role requires strong technical skills, particularly in Java and scripting, which can be an added advantage.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • At least 5-8 years of experience in system support.

  • Customer-facing experience of more than 3+ years.

  • L1-level application or infrastructure support experience for at least 3 years.

  • SailPoint or IAM system support experience is highly valued.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
