About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle DBA with migration experience to lead our team in ensuring seamless database migrations across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end migration lifecycle management
  • Migrating large-scale databases with minimal downtime
  • Database migration planning, design, and execution
  • Backup and recovery using Rubrik and RMAN
  • Data synchronization strategies for near-zero downtime migration
  • Migration tracking and validation using OEM
  • Collaboration with cloud architects and infrastructure teams

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Oracle Database experience
  • 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Oracle migrations

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of GoldenGate
  • Familiarity with Terraform/Ansible
  • Experience in hybrid migration scenarios
  • Exposure to DevOps pipelines

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Exadata administration
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) implementation
  • Rubrik integration for backup and DR
  • OEM for monitoring and migration validation

  • Implement data synchronization strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
