Executive Chef Manager

The Executive Chef Manager is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our establishment. This includes ensuring that all staff are working together as a cohesive unit to provide exceptional service and meet the needs of our guests.

  • We require our Executive Chef Managers to inspect the grooming and attire of staff, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
  • Our team members must be able to complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • They should also inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
  • Scheduled inventories and stock requisitions are crucial tasks for this role.
  • Executive Chef Managers must monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and the well-being of our guests.
  • Work orders for maintenance repairs should be completed in a timely manner.
  • This position requires assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees, while serving as a role model and first point of contact for our Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • All company and safety policies must be adhered to, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions reported to management, and safety training and certifications completed.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, protecting company assets, and presenting a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance are essential responsibilities.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to our standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Clear and professional communication with others is vital.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification required.
