Project Manager Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the successful completion of IT projects from initiation through delivery. This involves developing project plans and estimates, defining scope and requirements, allocating resources, initiating and executing projects according to plan.

  • A key aspect of this job is to manage IT projects end-to-end by applying change management, risk assessment, and resource allocation principles on a daily basis.
  • Effective communication with senior client stakeholders during Scrum calls is crucial for prioritizing projects, reporting progress, and addressing risks.
  • This position also involves resolving complex issues related to high-scoped projects.
  • Building strong partnerships with client stakeholders and project teams is essential for delivering successful outcomes.
  • Coordinating and monitoring project scheduling, pricing, and technical performance across the organization is also a vital part of this role.
  • This role may involve participating in contract negotiations and contractual changes.
  • Collaboration with the Sales Team to respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) is an important aspect of this position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10-14 years of overall IT experience, with at least 6 years in Project/Program Management.
  • Strong experience managing software development life-cycle projects and handling multiple technologies.
  • Mandatory experience in managing eCommerce domain projects (e.g., B2C/B2B platforms, online retail systems, commerce engines).
  • Thorough understanding of Agile principles for IT project/program management.
  • Excellent knowledge of change management principles.
  • Ability to understand and articulate business and technology requirements.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, collaborating across teams and client environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of project management tools (Basecamp, MS Project, JIRA) is a plus.
  • Experience working in iterative and multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
