the program management office PMO for the Product and Development organization at Gigamon This role reports into the Chief Product and Development Officer with broad visibility and high impact This vital leadership role is responsible for program management in establishing and improving business processes for new product introduction engineering operations product operations quality initiatives and cross-company program coordination Peers include the leaders for Development QA Product Management Product Marketing and others If you love collaborating across an organization that is big enough candidate with global influencing skills to be based in our Chennai India location What Youll Do Lead cross-company collaboration Lead Phase Exit process for major programs in the company Establish and improve processes to streamline execution achieve faster time-to-market and deliver outstanding value to our customers Support the cross-functional organization in measuring Quality especially with Software and Product Quality and help drive continuous improvement programs to maintain the highest quality standard Shepherd complex programs via the appropriate governance model with a strong executive presence Manage top-level programs for the Product Development organization and represent Product Development to manage and support cross-company programs Lead and manage a team of 7 Program Managers in Santa Clara California and Chennai India providing mentorship guidance and performance feedback while ensuring success of their programs Support the Chief Product Development Officer to trust across the organization to achieve agreed upon business outcomes Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills Foster Trust act with Integrity lean into Innovation embrace an Employees First ethos and communicate with Authenticity What Youve Done Successfully established new program management methodologies or upgraded existing processes in a company and seen resulting benefits by way of increased efficiency streamlined and faster execution cross-functional alignment and increased adoption by customers 10-15 years of experience with major development programs including 5 years in a leadership role specifically for program management Masters with Project Management Professional PMP certification MBA preferred Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Security space in particular having worked with software-rich enterprise products that also include a
