Business Development Executive

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at iLabs Hyderabad Technology Center Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar energy sales and business development, with a proven track record of identifying and closing new projects within the state of Andhra Pradesh.
About the Role:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting compelling solutions to drive business growth. You will also need to navigate complex regulatory processes and obtain necessary approvals to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct market research to identify potential clients and projects
* Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the target market
* Generate leads, qualify opportunities, and convert them into projects
* Prepare comprehensive and persuasive proposals
* Negotiate contracts and ensure favourable terms for the company
Negotiation Skills:
You will work closely with government officials, utilities, and private sector clients to negotiate contracts and ensure favourable terms for the company. Your strong negotiation skills will enable you to secure agreements that meet the company's goals while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance:
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with grid connection standards and regulations. This includes obtaining necessary environmental clearances and permits, as well as facilitating land acquisition and obtaining land use conversion permissions. Your ability to navigate complex regulatory processes will be essential in securing timely approvals and avoiding project delays.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent
* 7+ years of experience in solar EPC sales and business development
* Strong understanding of the solar energy industry, market trends, and regulatory landscape in Andhra Pradesh
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Strong relationship-building and networking abilities
* Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
* Willingness to travel extensively within the state

Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is ₹25,00,000 per annum.
