Position Overview (Climate Change & Energy Transition):

We seek a Fellow to join our Climate Change & Energy Transition team. The Fellow will provide evidence-based insights to inform global climate policies. Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and data analysis for climate change & energy transition focus areas.
  • Lead and contribute to the creation of analytical research reports, policy papers, discussion papers, and articles of the highest quality and relevance.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives.
  • Oversee projects and discussions, including planning, budget management, and coordination responsibilities.
  • Establish a network of industry participants, collaborate with partners, and other influential stakeholders to enhance events and communication efforts.
  • Search for and review published literature on a research topic.
  • Supervise undergraduate project interns or other personnel on research-related tasks.
  • Assist with manuscript or grant development.
  • Prepare reports or presentations.
  • Organize events, seminars, and workshops.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field including engineering or energy economics.
  • PhD in given domain is an added advantage.
  • 13+ years of work experience.

Key Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, NVivo, etc.) and research software is preferred.
  • Ability to work/lead as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship skills and team ethics.
  • Ability to adapt to new environment and deliver under tight deadlines in a professional environment.
  • Willingness to travel for research and stakeholder engagement.
