Job Title: Equity Research Analyst

Our organization is seeking an exceptional Equity Research Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our investment research team, you will play a pivotal role in driving informed investment decisions through in-depth analysis and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain coverage of listed companies within assigned sectors, conducting thorough financial analysis and identifying potential investment opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks, providing actionable insights for buy-side portfolios.
  • Monitor sector trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic drivers, staying ahead of the market curve.
  • Generate high-quality, differentiated investment ideas that meet the evolving needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with CIOs and portfolio managers on strategy and stock selection, ensuring alignment with our investment objectives.
  • Prepare well-researched reports and present insightful findings to internal stakeholders and clients, effectively communicating complex data-driven recommendations.
  • Participate in earnings calls, analyst meets, and management interactions, fostering strong relationships with industry leaders and subject matter experts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7–10 years of equity research experience, preferably on the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Strong sector expertise or flexibility to adapt to diverse mandates, coupled with excellent analytical, modeling, and report-writing skills.
  • Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai, with a flexible mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
