Job Title: Banquet Restaurant Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the management of restaurant staff by handling employee inquiries and concerns, monitoring staff performance, and providing feedback based on observations of service behaviors.
- Conduct daily restaurant operations by ensuring all staff have necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms, communicating with the Chef and Restaurant Manager regarding food quality and service levels, and ensuring compliance with all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, supervising staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met, and encouraging employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
- Conduct human resource activities by supervising ongoing training initiatives, utilizing available on-the-job training tools for staff, communicating performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position, and coaching and counseling staff regarding performance on an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area, or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major and 2 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
