The Role:

As a Leader in Engineering, you will oversee the management and delivery of medium to large-scale products with internal and direct customer impact. You will be responsible for day-to-day leadership of an Engineering team to ensure technical quality, product quality, and efficient use of resources. Your goal is to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting agreed-upon quality standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams within your organization and key stakeholders is essential.

You are great at:

  • Delivering assigned projects successfully
  • Partnering with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, other delivery teams, and Release Management to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects that meet business needs
  • Leading teams to achieve project delivery success
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, both internally and externally
  • Applying best practices and coding patterns to develop world-class solutions that are maintainable, modular, and of high code quality
  • Fostering a culture that emphasizes meeting expectations and delivering value
  • Driving automated solutions that enhance efficiency and process improvement
  • Developing and managing the skills and talent within the team
  • Managing People Resource processes related to objectives definitions, regular check-ins, assessments, and compensation
  • Ensuring effective communication across functions and escalating issues promptly as they arise
  • Facilitating regular Steering Committee meetings and presenting to senior-level management
  • Taking ownership of ensuring customer satisfaction during project delivery
  • Maintaining accurate project management documentation, including project plans, issues, risks, action items, scorecards, and project sites

What it takes:

  • A minimum of 14 years' experience in developing and managing core products or business applications
  • Strong domain expertise in Cyber Security, with the ability to drive innovation and take ownership of products offering cyber security to customers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
  • Experience with Content Management, Web Development, Agile Development, and global delivery
  • Practical knowledge of agile/iterative development processes
  • Strong design, architecture, and coding skills
