Studio Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Studio Operations Manager to oversee the efficient running of our in-house studio. This key role demands strong operational leadership, process-building ability, and vendor management expertise.

  • Daily Studio Operations
  • Plan, schedule, and manage daily catalog shoots in alignment with business priorities.
  • Track daily tasks and output of the studio team to ensure targets are met.
  • Monitor studio throughput, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve turnaround times.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead and manage the studio photography team and post-production editing team.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure smooth handoffs between production and post-production.
  • Foster a collaborative work atmosphere within the studio.
  • Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with post-production vendors, production houses, agencies, and freelance talent.
  • Negotiate contracts, track deliverables, and ensure vendors meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain a vetted vendor database and periodically assess performance.
  • Process Setup & Improvement
  • Establish SOPs for pre-production, shoot execution, post-production, and final asset delivery.
  • Implement efficient workflows to reduce shoot-to-upload time for e-commerce assets.
  • Maintain asset management protocols for file naming, storage, backups, and archiving.
  • Quality Control
  • Conduct on-set checks for brand consistency in photography and styling.
  • Oversight post-production QC - retouching, color correction, and final output approvals.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and legal requirements.
