At our institution, we are seeking a results-driven professional to oversee the scientific manuscript publication process for our prestigious journal. This role will lead cross-functional teams across peer review, content writing, and video production to ensure timely delivery of high-quality scientific publications.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage teams to ensure efficient publishing operations.
  • Oversee the complete manuscript workflow from peer review to publication.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies such as AI to optimize workflows.
  • Define team KPIs and departmental goals; monitor performance and accountability.
  • Maintain scientific rigor and editorial excellence in all published content.
Requirements:
  • A Master's or Ph.D. in life sciences.
  • 10+ years of experience in academic, scientific publishing, or edtech content production.
  • 7+ years of proven management experience.
  • Strong understanding of peer review, open access trends, and evolving scientific publishing models.
  • Experience with digital publishing technologies and workflow automation tools.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating technology and digital tools to improve publishing workflows.
