About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with expertise in forecasting, predictive modelling, customer segmentation, and price optimization.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail sector, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Azure cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy forecasting models to predict business trends, sales, and demand patterns.
  • Perform customer segmentation using clustering and other advanced analytics techniques to support targeted marketing and personalization strategies.
  • Implement price optimization models to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Analyze retail sector data to derive actionable insights and improve decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into business workflows.
  • Work with Azure Machine Learning and other Azure services to manage, train, and deploy models.
  • Monitor and refine machine learning models for improved accuracy and performance over time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Strong experience in time series forecasting and predictive analytics.
  • Proven track record in customer segmentation and price optimization.
  • Domain expertise in the retail sector preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and related Azure services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
