Our organization is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to apply AI-driven insights and data analytics solutions in retail Industry, specifically for Apparel and Footwear domains.

We require a Data Analyst with experience in demand forecasting to interpret and improve our pre-trained models.

The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of experience in data science or a related field, including expertise in Retail Industry and strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and working with pre-trained ML models.

A strong orientation towards solving business problems is essential, as is the ability to communicate insights and forecast results effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and anomalies, leveraging existing pre-trained forecasting models to deliver actionable insights and accurate forecasting outcomes.

You will work closely with our team to develop strategies that drive real-world business results by applying nuanced understanding of data points and improving model outcomes based on data insights.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in demand/Timeseries forecasting for Retail Industry
  • Leverage existing pre-trained forecasting models to optimize their performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve model performance through better data usage and fine-tuning
  • Communicate findings effectively to a non-technical business audience
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop strategies that drive real-world business results

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in data science or a related field
  • Strong skills in data analysis, data visualization, and working with pre-trained ML models
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
