Healthcare Data Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Data Engineer to support AI/ML initiatives by designing, developing, and integrating data solutions to prepare large healthcare datasets for AI-driven analytics and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and rationalize data from various sources to ensure readiness for AI-driven analytics.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and AI teams to deliver high-quality, compliant data pipelines.
  • Design and develop data solutions to support automated workflows, bots, and AI Agents that span legacy platforms.
  • Perform data quality assurance and validation checks to ensure reliability and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in healthcare data engineering.
  • Proficiency in data cleaning, normalization, aggregation, and feature extraction.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, HL7, FHIR).
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, and automation frameworks for data workflows.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from multiple healthcare systems and vendors.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to partner with AI/ML teams.
