Senior Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Merchant Banking division in Mumbai, India. This individual will play a crucial role in overseeing the investment strategy and asset management for our real estate portfolio.

The successful candidate will work on our buy-side acquisitions platform in the single-family residential real estate sector, identifying, underwriting, due diligence, and concession negotiation management across new acquisition opportunities. They will also contribute to ongoing revenue management pricing and strategy for our existing portfolio of homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite and locate investment opportunities using market comparables to determine accurate rent, value, and initial bid price for a single-family asset
  • Underwrite each piece of property build including rent, capex, HOA, property taxes, and as-repaired values with high accuracy
  • Participate in the acquisition of single-family homes by tracking assets through various phases of the deal lifecycle
  • Understand market nuances and apply them in underwriting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Specialization in Real Estate or Finance preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in underwriting, brokerage, or other real estate related disciplines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Track record of success (academic, professional)
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with internal and external professionals
  • High level of detail-orientation and organization with ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to prioritize multiple deadlines while delivering a high-quality product under tight time constraints
  • Desire to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
