Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Financial Accountant to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely payments and reconciliations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate vendor payments, refunds, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Update supplier reconciliation portal.
  • Coordinate with clients for missing vendor bills and approval.
  • Prepare weekly AP reports and allocate vendor payments in books.
  • Review vendor reconciliations done by AA.
  • Chase W9 from vendors and prepare 1099 Workings.
  • Tax return reconciliation.
  • Review sales entries (weekly).
  • Review sales tax and prompt tax working file, and prepare use tax calculation.
  • Prepare CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner (48 hours).
  • Deliver AP reports to clients on time.
  • Meet internal month-end closing deadlines (financials).
  • Train new team members and help them settle.
  • E nsure internal processes and systems are adhered to.
  • Be open to learning new processes and working on new roles as assigned.
  • Attend all internal training/development sessions for personal/business growth.
  • Mentor and train associates in day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work under stringent deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
