Finance Support Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Support Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective assistance to our clients with their JD Edwards EnterpriseOne finance systems.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining optimal application performance, collaborating with internal and external resources to resolve issues, and proposing innovative solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second line support to customers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Create functional solutions based on defined business needs.
  • Liaise with the applications team and external suppliers to ensure fixes and changes meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Proactively manage problems to reduce the frequency or impact of incidents on customers' businesses.
  • Support junior consultants with functional expertise while contributing to team success by identifying process improvements.
  • Initiate and manage effective relationships between Global Support teams and the company.
  • Communicate effectively on the status of issues being dealt with.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years Oracle JD Edwards E1 Finance experience in a support or implementation role.
  • Experience of all JD Edwards versions up to and including EnterpriseOne 9.2.
  • Domain expertise in core finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
  • JD Edwards World Software experience is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A highly driven and self-motivated individual with a proactive approach and strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • A strong team player with effective collaboration skills in a remote working environment.
