ERP Transition Expert

We are seeking a seasoned ERP Transition Expert to lead and execute JD Edwards (JDE) activities during organizational transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transition Planning & Execution:
  • Design and implement JDE processes for company separation, including inactivation of accounts, closure of company codes, and data extraction strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope of divestiture and ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements

The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in JD Edwards ERP with a focus on Finance and cross-functional modules. They must also possess strong understanding of JDE configuration, data structures, and integration points, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Finance Module Expertise:
  • Configure and support modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and multi-currency setups.
  • Handle intercompany settlements, period-end closures, and reporting requirements

Additionally, they should be familiar with compliance frameworks (SOX, audit readiness) and have proven experience in at least one company separation, merger, or acquisition project.

They will be responsible for leading historical data extraction and handover to acquiring entities, ensuring seamless integration with systems like SAP, Hyperion, and EBS during transitions.

Security & Compliance responsibilities include implementing SOX-compliant security using tools like All Out, generating and reviewing SOD, sensitive access, and firefighting ID reports.

Documentation & Training responsibilities involve preparing as-is/to-be process documents, runbooks, and training materials, conducting user training, and creating self-help documentation to reduce support tickets.
