Job Title: Financial Specialist

  • Job Purpose: We are seeking a skilled Financial Specialist with substantial experience in financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing.

  • Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information, maintaining a transparent and auditable record of all financial activities.
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options and providing strategic recommendations to management.
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information and preparing comprehensive reports, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions, providing support and training as needed.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls, protecting sensitive financial information from unauthorized access or breach.
  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations, providing expert guidance and advice.
