Job Overview:

The Shift Manager role oversees the daily operations of a data center, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team and execute planned and unplanned activities on time with effective communication.
  • Resolve complaints within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe.
  • Manage incidents and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to provide timely recommendations and periodic reviews.
  • Oversee asset management, including warranty, annual maintenance contracts, lifecycle, and capacity planning.
  • Implement and track Physical Plant Management (PPPM) activities with target attainment times and ensure 100% equipment availability.
  • Coordinate with vendors for return-to-availability (RAT) and turnaround times (TAT) for complaint resolution and redundant equipment uptime.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels in accordance with Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience teams to address customer queries and submit reports on time.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory requirements, tracking periodic trackers.
  • Adhere to physical security processes and maintain risk assessments, periodic validations, and updates based on incidents and RCA findings.
  • Update inventory levels regularly, balancing capacity versus accommodate versus balance on a monthly basis.
  • Submit reports on time, adhering to agreed-upon timelines.
