Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Building Management Systems Design Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing data-center and industrial projects, including chiller plant automation, fire detection, public address systems, telecom, and security systems.

A strong background in conceptual design at the preliminary stage, with knowledge of project requirements following relevant codes & standards, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review Basis of Design for various projects.
  • Prepare BMS IO summaries, sequence of operations for different systems, and cause & effect matrices for Fire alarm systems.
  • Create detailed drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents, including technical specifications, material requisition, data sheets, and BOQ as per requirement.
  • Review and analyze Technical Bid Evaluation reports.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure timely deliverables and perform squad checks on drawings received from other disciplines.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.
  • Proficiency in reviewing 3D models using Navisworks is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of IS / IEC standards.
