At Tata AIG, we offer an exciting opportunity to serve as a Commercial Director. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the company's commercial insurance business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial claims (non-Essential Business - Property, Marine & Engineering) from intimation, registration, and investigation to settlement and closure\
  • Evaluate policy coverage, terms & conditions, exclusions, and endorsements to determine claim liability\
  • Coordinate with surveyors, loss adjusters, underwriters, legal advisors, and reinsurers for claim assessment\
  • Conduct thorough investigations and validations of claims, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company guidelines\
  • Prepare and maintain claims documentation, MIS reports, and analytics to support decision-making\
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure a transparent, fair claims experience\
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance claims efficiency\
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve claims handling processes and reduce cycle times\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders\
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in commercial insurance\
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork within the team\
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies\
  • Other duties as assigned by management\
