Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of insurance professionals to achieve set performance targets and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Set, monitor, and analyze team KPIs, including performance metrics and turnaround times (TATs).
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team skills and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet customer retention goals and improve client satisfaction.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and foster strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with corporate teams and insurance units to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Liaise with insurance partners to optimize products and services offered to clients.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and internal policies.
- Apply sound knowledge of medical underwriting in operational and strategic decisions.
Qualifications And Skills
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, preferably in team leadership or managerial roles.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Experience in performance monitoring, goal setting, and achieving business targets.
- Ability to design and deliver effective training and development programs.
- Excellent customer service orientation and client relationship management skills.
- Sound understanding of insurance products, regulations, and medical underwriting processes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and business development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in the insurance sector is highly desirable.
