Job Title:

Lead Assessor - Social Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

  • Conduct thorough and unbiased social compliance audits, identifying areas of non-compliance and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and other teams within the organization.
  • Cultivate a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, promoting open communication and knowledge-sharing among team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international and local labor standards, human rights issues, and best practices in social compliance auditing.
  • Travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law, HR, Occupational Health and Safety, or Environment, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in social compliance & CTPAT auditing, with at least 200 social compliance audit days (verifiable).
  • APSCA Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) certification is preferred.
  • SA8000 Auditor Certification, RBA, BSCI Certification, Higg, or equivalent is a plus.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, results-oriented, and strong business acumen.
  • Able to operate in a multi-cultural environment with persons of varying socio-economic status.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
