Procurement & Sourcing Expert

The Procurement / Sourcing Head plays a crucial role in driving the organization's supply chain strategy, focusing on sourcing and procuring critical components for EandC, Solar, and R&D projects. This position involves collaborating closely with engineering teams, managing vendor relationships, ensuring alternate sourcing strategies, and mitigating supply risks to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement of EandC/Solar/R&D Components:
  • Source and procure electrical and control components to meet organizational needs, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement alternate sourcing strategies to mitigate supply risks and ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
  • Work closely with engineering teams to align procurement efforts with technical specifications, addressing any deviations in requirements and resolving technical issues with suppliers.
  • Vendor Management & Negotiation:
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers for EandC components, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure favorable agreements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate: B.Tech/B.E. in Production/Industrial or relevant field.
  • Postgraduate: Any Postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
