Job Title: Enterprise Risk Management Leader

Description:

  • The successful candidate will oversee all operational activities in the Enterprise Risk Management function, ensuring robust internal controls and effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop an Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization, incorporating industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Design a comprehensive internal control system to identify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies.
  • Conduct regular reviews of business processes to identify control gaps and deficiencies, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date risk assessments through Risk Registers (RCSA).
  • Collaborate with Principal Risk Owners to identify key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, and develop action plans to address any gaps in mitigating measures.
  • Develop reports on risk-related matters for the Risk Committee, Executive Management Team, and Board Committees.
  • Establish an integrated risk reporting framework to enable focused attention on critical risks.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution. Certifications such as FRM, CFA, or CBCP are preferred.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks, including COSO and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
  • Demonstrate expertise in risks identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
  • Ability to design and evaluate effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.
