Procurement Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead our IT acquisition endeavors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acquiring diverse types of IT hardware, software, and related services.
  • Managing administrative materials and services, including steel and cement for new projects and expansions.
  • Negotiating contracts, ordering, delivering, and settling procurement transactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as internal and external audits.
  • Mitigating risk, developing alternatives, optimizing spend, and achieving cost excellence.
  • Taking ownership of the spend category and managing it with consistency in delivery, availability, cost savings, risk mitigation, and continuous improvements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in engineering (Computer Engg/IT/Electronics) or PGDMM/MBA in IT Systems.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a similar role in a large complex organization.

Skills:

  • Creative mindset with team spirit and ability to navigate different situations.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written).
  • Collaborative approach with problem-solving attitude.
  • Process orientation and strong ethics.
  • IT/computer savvy with Excel/MS Office skills.
