Senior Vice President of Third-Party Risk Management

About the RoleAs the TPRM Control Assessment Lead, you'll be part of ANZ's newly formed TPRM Office Leadership Team, responsible for delivering third-party control assessment activities across the TPRM lifecycle.
In this role, you'll lead three newly created cross-border/multi-jurisdictional Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Controls Assessment Teams covering Security & Data, Integrity, and Resiliency.
These TPRM Controls Assessment teams will:
- Fulfill a critical role in supporting the business with existing requirements related to engaging and managing third parties, as well as continuous improvement in the risk and control environment through close engagement and collaboration with business stakeholders and third-parties.
- Provide global support and guidance through the third-party risk identification, assessment, and management processes.

What will your day look like?As the TPRM Control Assessment Lead:
- Leading the business and third-party facing TPRM Controls Assessment Team, providing first-line support to the business/third-parties to demonstrate effective risk management and compliance over third-party engagements.
- Building and leading three teams of TPRM subject matter experts to support the effective delivery of risk and compliance obligations across the third-party risk management lifecycle.
- Ensuring effective engagement, connectivity, and relationships with Risk Theme Owners/Policy Owners that mandate requirements through the third-party engagement and management process.
- Maintaining effective relationships with business stakeholders engaging and managing third-party engagements, including business 1st line risk teams.
- Driving enhancements in the risk and control environment across the third-party risk management lifecycle through a focus on continuous improvement.
- Maintaining close engagement with key stakeholders to ensure TPRM support needs are understood with appropriate allocation of resource, as well as business stakeholders who may require increased support on risk management with requisite training, communication supported by risk domains.
15+ years of professional experience with risk management and compliance within the financial service industry, ideally with a third-party lens.
Experience in leading teams with a proven track record of fostering employee engagement and enhancing performance.
Proven stakeholder management expertise, including multiple examples of managing effective relationships and delivery of risk-related communication activities.
Demonstrated track record of delivering effectively to operational deadlines.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning in the workplace.
Experience interpreting and understanding regulatory requirements across multiple regimes.
Experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
Demonstrated customer lens and affinity.
Experience managing cross-border teams.
