Transformative Leadership Opportunity

HSBC is seeking a seasoned professional to assume a pivotal role in our Resilience Risk and Third Party Risk Management team in APAC. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and overseeing the implementation of a robust Risk Management Framework across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of the control environment within Businesses and Regions, providing expert opinions on risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Risk Management Framework, ensuring effective governance, policies, and practices to identify, assess, and manage operational risk.
  • Provide constructive challenge to senior stakeholders, promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability.
  • Lead thematic reviews and aggregated reporting of the Non-Financial Risk profile, ensuring accurate and timely insights for informed decision-making.
  • Deploy deep subject matter expertise in Third Party risk management, driving regional excellence and best practices.
  • Collaborate with country and regional ORR Managers to ensure seamless Third Party risk management across the organization.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Third Party risk management, with relevant experience in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the external environment, including regulatory, geopolitical, and technological landscapes.
  • A change agent with a track record of delivering results, driving innovation, and promoting a culture of risk awareness.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, with professional certifications and qualifications a plus.
