Job Summary:

The role of a Legal Operations Specialist involves managing and executing law firm engagements. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough research and analysis on new law firm vendors to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Policy Management: Maintain and update the Outside Counsel Policy, including uploading acceptances, documenting exceptions, and managing fee arrangements and rate cards in SharePoint.
  • Rate Approvals: Process and track rate approvals for outside counsel in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Data Accuracy: Maintain real-time updates across various databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Law Firm Inventories: Reconcile law firm inventories using multiple master data sources.
  • Risk Management: Support implementation of risk management controls related to law firm engagements.
  • Status Updates: Provide regular status updates on project milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Process Excellence: Ensure that all projects and tasks adhere to defined scope, timeline, and quality standards.
