Job Title: Senior Legal Specialist - Supply Chain

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters, providing strategic advice, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide informed legal guidance to partner functions on a wide range of complex issues, ensuring seamless operations
  • Handle critical litigations related to labour, employment, and environment
  • Support sustainability initiatives and activities, ensuring compliance with PWMR and other relevant laws
  • Partner with HR in drafting and implementing policies and frameworks, including those around reward structures and social security benefits
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks, providing high-quality expert advice and support to category teams
  • Prepare, negotiate, and review commercial agreements governing relationships with third-party suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, particularly regarding manufacturing setups and expansions
  • Lead the implementation of compliance tools and frameworks for the Supply Chain
  • Assess key legal issues and principles, identifying how they relate to markets, relationship types, products, and services to highlight legal risks and consequences
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities as required

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced company
  • Strong functional expertise and business partnering experience is essential; preferable having seen a scaled manufacturing setup and its complexities
  • Ability to understand business drivers and strategic thrusts of the organization
  • Proficient legal drafting skills and attention to detail, including when operating under pressure
  • Highly developed ability to successfully negotiate to achieve desired outcomes in constrained timelines
  • Ability to use legal knowledge and skills to give strategic advice, solve problems, identify pragmatic solutions, proactively manage risks, and spot opportunities
  • Ability to establish, develop, and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders across levels
