Job Overview

The Senior Manager AVP Legal role involves overseeing legal matters within the organization. This position requires a high level of expertise in property laws, stamp acts, and contract law. The ideal candidate will have experience working with banks or non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting security assessments and creating documentation.
2. Drafting, vetting, and negotiating loan and security documents.
3. Following up on litigations filed against the Bank and replying to customer or BO complaints.
4. Preparing and maintaining Management Information Systems (MIS) for legal audits.
5. Providing updates on property laws, local laws, and notifications to the Department.
6. Conducting internal audits and resolving audit queries.

Requirements:
1. Academic Qualification - LLB degree from a recognized university.
2. Work Experience - 7-10 years in a related field.
3. Prior experience working with banks or NBFCs is essential.
4. Strong drafting, documentation, and negotiation skills are required.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for data analysis and MIS preparation.
