Senior Legal Advisor Job Description

The Senior Legal Advisor will provide expert legal and litigation-related support to the business. This role reports directly to a senior leader.

  • Drafting legal documents, including notices and responses, and reviewing pleadings for filing in various courts.
  • Liaising with advocates on record for timely updates on matters, listing, and strategic discussions for effective progress.
  • Briefing senior counsels and counsels for litigations filed by or against the company.
  • Coordinating with departments across the organization for collating information on concerned issues.
  • Keeping relevant stakeholders informed on litigation developments.
  • Proactively discussing legal issues and providing solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Law graduate with a master of law (LL.M) preferred.
  • 10-15 years' experience post-qualification.
  • Experience in mid-to-large-sized corporations or reputable law firms with clients in telecom, media, and broadcasting sectors.
