Operations Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational readiness for projects. This includes finding and setting up staff rooms, coordinating site readiness before launches, and ensuring that all facilities, utilities, and supplies are in place for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accommodation Procurement: Identify and arrange suitable staff accommodation/staff rooms close to project sites.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely setup of furniture, fixtures, and utilities.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct pre-launch site inspections to verify operational readiness (cleanliness, safety, utilities, equipment).
  • Liaison and Compliance: Maintain liaison with local authorities, landlords, and service providers for smooth execution of administrative tasks. Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Ensure procurement and availability of required materials (stationery, uniforms, housekeeping items, etc.). Handle travel, accommodation, and logistical arrangements for staff during launch phase.
  • Financial Management: Manage petty cash, admin budgets, and expense records for site setup.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, administration, or site coordination (hospitality/F&B industry preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple sites and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during project launches.
