Business Development Director for Branding and Storytelling

We're seeking an accomplished Business Development Director with a proven track record in acquiring new business opportunities for branding, advertising, consulting, or creative industries.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a top design studio that has established itself as India's most awarded design and branding studio. The company boasts a legacy of 20+ years, working with marquee clients across various industries.

The ideal candidate will have six to ten years of experience in business development, with a strong understanding of brand storytelling and consultative selling. They will be responsible for proactively reaching out to prospects through their network, LinkedIn, industry events, and referrals, while shaping every conversation around the client's brand and business challenges.

The successful candidate will diagnose problems, frame the company as the right solution partner, and craft compelling narratives that connect branding to measurable growth outcomes. They will anchor pitches and proposals with the strategy and creative teams, taking ownership of the pipeline and quarterly acquisition targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a target list of 50 to 100 prospects and set up discovery conversations
  • Sharpen the pitch with leadership and convert at least two to three new accounts into live projects
  • Consistently open high-quality conversations with CXO-level prospects and deliver on agreed revenue targets

Requirements

The ideal profile includes:

  • 6-10 years of experience in business development for branding, advertising, consulting, or creative industries
  • A good personal network in marketing and brand circles
  • Proven success in acquiring new logos rather than farming existing accounts
