Director of Strategic Growth Initiatives

This is a high-visibility leadership role, working directly with the executive team and global leaders.
The Director of Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for prioritizing, planning, and implementing projects. This role requires a visionary strategist and a hands-on operator who can manage complex, cross-functional initiatives, secure partnerships, and ensure timely execution.
- **Portfolio Management**: Prioritize initiatives based on impact, ROI, and strategic value.
- Build and maintain the 36-month phased roadmap (0–12m, 12–24m, 24–36m).
- Monitor progress, risks, and ensure deliverables are on track.
**Execution & Delivery**: Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to execute initiatives. Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs. Ensure initiatives launch on schedule.
**Stakeholder Engagement**: Collaborate with global policymakers, enterprise executives, event organizers, and sponsors. Present progress updates to leadership, sponsors, and partners. Build strong relationships with vendors, agencies, and external collaborators.
**Sponsorship & Revenue Enablement**: Support sponsorship strategy by aligning initiatives with partner goals. Ensure deliverables for sponsors are met with excellence.
**Team Leadership**: Oversee initiative managers, consultants, and interns. Establish clear goals, dashboards, and reporting systems.
Qualifications10+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations, ideally in AI, technology policy, or global nonprofits.
Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar programs and complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Strong understanding of AI, governance, and emerging technologies.
Exceptional project management skills with ability to juggle multiple initiatives.
Experience working with corporate sponsors, government partners, or international organizations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take ownership of outcomes.
