Job Title: Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking a skilled Internal Audit Manager to lead our global audit team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive audit programs aligned with our strategic plan and execute audits/reviews in compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate and facilitate effective communication between audit clients/business units on meetings and fieldwork, achieve alignment on audit findings, and finalize action plans.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all forms of audit work papers as per established procedures and quality assurance standards.
  • Provide expert support to business units on risk management frameworks, review programs for adequacy of coverage, and provide recommendations as necessary.
  • Support business teams to enhance control awareness through governance, risk, and compliance training programs and provide feedback on observations.
  • Identify and report unusual events/business irregularities and control violations, perform/participate in forensic audits/fraud investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Offer independent guidance to business units regarding compliance requirements and best practices on internal controls, risk management, and audit areas.

Metric for Performance Measurement: % completion of audit topics per plan, client feedback/survey results, quality and magnitude of risks identified, and improvements recommended.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (and/or) Cost & Management Accountant, with relevant internal audit experience (and/or) certified internal auditor.
  • 7-10 years of internal audit experience.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing/process industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience of accounting standards (Ind AS, US GAAP, IFRS).
  • Experience in accepted practices of accounting consolidation, financials preparation, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with forensic reviews/fraud investigations (Preferred).
  • Experience with SAP and highly skilled in MS Office package.
  • Tech-savvy, good understanding of database systems, and ability to employ technology effectively.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
