Geospatial Expert Position

A Geospatial Expert at a prominent organization will oversee geophysical and geotechnical surveys across an offshore wind portfolio throughout the project lifecycle. This includes project execution lead for individual survey work scopes, encompassing health and safety protocols, resourcing, permitting, and data management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safe, technical, and commercial management of surveys from tendering through to execution.
  • Collaborate with an integrated geoscience team to acquire and develop fit-for-purpose ground models for wind farm engineering (off- and on-shore).
  • Maintain relationships with third-party suppliers, contractors, and partners in leading long-term performance management and pursuing continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of industry codes and standards.
  • Expertise in project management of survey operations, including relevant procurement, HSSE, technical-commercial, and schedule management.
  • Experience in geotechnical and geophysical data acquisition, quality control, processing, interpretation, and reporting.

Professional Competencies / Soft Skills:

  • Excellent proficiency in English (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, working with distributed teams and time-zones.
