Hydraulic Design Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Design Manager to join our organization.

  • Duration of Experience: 8-10 Years

Qualification:

  • B.E. Civil/ M. Tech (Water Resources/Irrigation/ Environment)

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with pipeline hydraulics, particularly in water supply schemes and irrigation projects.
  • Expertise in using software like Water GEMS for design calculations.
  • Knowledge of different types of pipes, valves, pumps, and relevant IS codes.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, ArcGIS, E survey Software, and other relevant tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Determine water requirements for water supply schemes and irrigation pipe distribution networks.
  2. Prepare zone or water user association block planning and chak planning for projects.
  3. Develop pipeline layout plans for water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution networks in irrigation projects.
  4. Create hydraulic designs for water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution networks in irrigation projects using Water GEMS software.
  5. Design L-sections of pipelines on AutoCAD and E survey Software.
  6. Conduct investigations, surveys, design engineering calculations, and prepare working drawings and estimates for water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution networks in irrigation projects.
  7. Estimate item-wise bills of quantity for projects.
  8. Calculate quantity estimations and bar bending schedules from drawings.
  9. Obtain design approvals from government departments and vetting institutes.
  10. Participate in site visits and travel to government departments for scrutiny and approval purposes.
  11. Maintain effective report writing and presentation skills.
