Job Title: Chief Database Architect

Are you a skilled database professional looking for a challenging opportunity to design and implement robust database solutions? We are seeking an experienced Chief Database Architect to lead our database development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and deploy complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts, packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Optimize and tune SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for SQL and PL/SQL development.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
  • Perform data modelling and design database structures that meet application needs and business requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database procedures, structures, and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in a development environment.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance.
  • Experience with PL/SQL programming, including the creation of stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Familiarity with database design principles and data modelling.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning techniques and tools for Oracle databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualification & Experience: - 3-5 years of experience with Oracle 19c or later versions. Knowledge of database security practices and data integrity concepts. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for database code management.
