Job Title: Cloud Database Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Architect to lead our database strategy and implementation on Microsoft SQL Server.

This is a key role for any organization looking to leverage the power of cloud computing and database expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database environments on AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, etc.)

  • Develop and implement database architectures that meet business needs and ensure scalability, performance, and security.
  • Lead workshops to gather requirements, design solutions, and define database architecture for MS SQL on Cloud.
  • Plan, design, implement, and maintain database environments on AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in AWS (RDS, EC2, S3) and strong hands-on experience in MS SQL environments.
  • Strong knowledge in setting up MS SQL in HA architecture.
  • Hands-on experience migrating database workloads onto RDS or native EC2.
  • Good understanding of HA and replication mechanisms for databases.
  • Practical experience in 3-tier solutioning.
