Job Title: System Network Administrator

Are you an experienced network administrator looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team.

Below are the key responsibilities of the position:

  • Network Monitoring and Reporting: Ensure timely monitoring and reporting of network performance, including ISP/DC/DR/MPLS/P2P link monitoring, availability and utilization reports, and device inventory management.
  • Firewall and Security Operations: Manage firewall access, implement IP whitelisting, block malware IPs according to SOC standards, review firewall rule bases, and monitor NIPS/IPS logs.
  • Device Configuration and Backup: Take and restore backups of DC/DR/HO/NDR network devices, modify VLAN settings on L2 switches, and reset network device passwords.
  • Access and User Management: Activate/deactivate domain IDs and VPNs for users as per their roles, conduct admin access reviews, and generate reports.
  • Load Balancer Operations: Configure backup rules, create new application rules, and ensure seamless load balancer operations.
  • Incident and Change Management: Handle Level 1 incidents via email/calls, prepare and implement RFCs, and coordinate with OEMs for troubleshooting.
  • Cloud and Virtualization Awareness: Stay up-to-date with AWS and Azure firewalls/security, understand ACI/AVS switch installation, and participate in cloud/virtualization initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in system administration.
