**Job Title:** Strategic HR Manager - Bangalore

**Salary:** ₹80,00,000 - ₹1,20,00,000 per annum

**Job Description:** We are looking for a talented Human Resources Director who will play a key role in managing and executing human resources functions within our university. The ideal candidate should have a strong HR background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and develop a team.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs. Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection of candidates. Develop and maintain effective onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and fair manner. Promote a positive work culture and resolve interpersonal conflicts. Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve retention rates.
  • Performance Management: Administer the performance appraisal process. Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Identify training and development opportunities for staff.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations. Review and update HR policies and procedures as necessary. Provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including healthcare and retirement plans. Conduct benefits orientation and educate employees on available benefits.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs. Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze HR reports to provide insights for decision-making. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** MBA in HR, at least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles, strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite, and HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
