At Tata Motors, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electric Vehicle Sales Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating sales strategies for selling electric vehicles to government departments in assigned markets.

Job Overview

The Electric Vehicle Sales Strategist will play a critical role in achieving sales targets in the assigned area or dealerships by coordinating with respective departments, government agencies, plant, government accounts department, and dealership sales teams for FAME and GeM (Government e-Market Place) end-to-end transaction closing.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate sales strategies for selling electric vehicles to government departments in assigned markets, including planning and execution through dealership levels for achievement of sales in the segment.
  • Understand government purchases through various channels such as GeM (Government e-Market Place), Tender, Leasing, Hire Purchase, and Purchase & Hiring policy of vehicles by Government (Understanding of GR).
  • Achieve sales targets in the assigned area or dealerships.
  • Coordinate with respective departments, government agencies, plant, government accounts department, and dealership sales teams for FAME and GeM (Government e-Market Place) end-to-end transaction closing.
  • Monitor government sales and ensure government customers' satisfaction with our products.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or MBA.
  • 5-6 years of experience in sales, preferably in institutional sales.
  • Strong understanding of the government sector and its purchasing processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of ₹60,00,000 - ₹90,00,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for career growth and development.
