Corporate Strategy Role Overview

This key position involves developing and implementing corporate strategies to mitigate credit risk, while aligning with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate strategy and credit risk management principles, with experience in monitoring loan portfolios and identifying early warning signals of credit risk.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor loan portfolios to track overdue accounts, defaults, delinquencies, and NPAs, and identify early warning signals of credit risk.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and develop actionable strategies to mitigate credit risk while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  3. Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and collections teams to strengthen credit decision-making and improve recoveries.
  4. Establish and maintain credit risk frameworks, ensuring adherence to company policies and guidelines.
  5. Prepare regular MIS and risk reports for management, highlighting key risk trends and exposures.
  6. Ensure effective monitoring of asset quality and recommend measures to maintain a healthy loan book.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-9 years of experience in credit risk management or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of corporate strategy and credit risk management principles.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify key risk trends and exposures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or equivalent degree in finance or a related field.
  • Certification in credit risk management or a related field.
