Job Description

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, a global leader in financial services, is seeking an ambitious Corporate Credit Analyst to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of EMEA corporate clients and contribute to the bank's risk management strategies.

The successful candidate will perform forward-looking fundamental credit analysis on borrowers, manage annual renewals, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal risk/return outcomes.

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA corporate clients and undertake detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry.
  • Annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the Bank's credit processes and procedures.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Relationship Managers, Product teams, and Credit Officers/Approvers.
  • Conduct thorough industry research and stay up-to-date with market trends.
  • Support audit management, including internal and external audits.

Requirements

This role requires a strong background in fundamental corporate analysis, with experience gained in a bank or a Global Capability Centre environment. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Extensive experience in credit analysis, preferably in a transaction-driven environment.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience after post-graduation (CA/CFA/MBA Finance or equivalents).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience covering EMEA large corporates.
  • Good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg/CapIQ and similar systems.
