Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Credit Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough credit evaluations, analyzing financial data, and making recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing credit proposals and reviewing cases according to established credit policy parameters.\
  • Conducting documentation checks and analyzing observations to identify necessary corrections in credit appraisal.\
  • Preparing Credit Appraisal Memorandums (CAMs) that highlight the quality of information and support decision-making at senior levels.\
  • Monitoring delinquency, exceptions, and portfolio movement, as well as maintaining required data for senior management.\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry dynamics, banking products, and policies, including SME loan products.\
  • Providing expert financial analysis and market knowledge of the relevant industry segment.\
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure effective communication and decision-making.\
  • Ensuring adherence to bank internal policies and procedures, while being sensitive to business requirements and delivering results-driven performance.\
  • Engaging in discussions with seniors regarding observations and assessments of credit proposals.\
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions.\\

Requirements

  • \
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in credit evaluation within a reputable bank.\
  • CA or MBA from a recognized institution.\
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.\
  • Strong understanding of credit policies, banking regulations, and industry trends.\
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.\\
