Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead our end-to-end operations and maintenance for the Aggregates and Ready-Mixed Concrete vertical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, asset reliability, cost control, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of aggregate crushing plants and batching plants, ensuring smooth functioning of plant equipment, transport fleets, and weighbridges.
  • Monitor production output to meet quantity and quality targets, implementing SOPs for efficient plant utilization and dispatch planning.
  • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs across plants and mobile equipment, minimizing unplanned downtimes and extending asset life cycle.
  • Ensure adherence to BIS and other regulatory standards for RMC and aggregates, overseeing quality control processes in the lab and on-site.
  • Drive initiatives for energy saving, fuel efficiency, and maintenance cost reduction, monitoring and controlling OPEX budgets, maintenance expenses, and material wastage.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team including plant in-charges, maintenance engineers, and operators, ensuring manpower productivity and skill development.
Requirements

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, MBA (Operations) preferred.

    • Experience: 10-20 years in plant operations/maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Aggregates or RMC.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of crushing plant and batching plant machinery.
    • Familiarity with SCADA, PLC, and maintenance software.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making.
