Export Operations Coordinator
  • About the Role:
  • The Export Operations Coordinator will be responsible for pre and post-export documentation, including export invoices, packing lists, bill of lading drafts, and other related documents.
  • This role also involves generating insurance certificates through online portals and maintaining sufficient insured amounts.
  • An additional responsibility is handling hazardous cargo by understanding Haz Classes, Packing Groups, and preparing Dangerous Goods Declarations.
  • The Export Operations Coordinator will coordinate with factories, CHAs, forwarders, transporters, shipping lines, and customers for communication and coordination.
  • Negotiating air or sea freight with forwarders, shipping lines, or CHAs is also a key aspect of this role.
  • The coordinator will check and approve Shipping Bill (SB) Checklists, Bills of Entry (BOE), Air Waybills (AWB), and Bills of Lading (BL).
  • Booking flights and vessels with freight forwarders, as well as arranging courier shipments through DHL or FedEx, are other important tasks.
  • The Export Operations Coordinator must understand Letter of Credit (LC) Shipments and ensure regular reviews.
  • Responding to queries from export customers promptly and efficiently is also a requirement.
  • Maintaining accurate records, transporting FCL shipments, and factory stuffing are additional responsibilities.
  • The coordinator will also apply for Preferential and Non-preferential COOs online.
  • Multitasking is essential, as the Export Operations Coordinator will handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Keeping track of cargo till delivery to clients is crucial.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in chemicals industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
